\nEx-Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyau<\/b>, exposed yesterday<\/a> during a live interview that he knew (and gave his consent) to the alleged attack executed against Syria<\/a> two weeks ago. Netanyahu was not the first political whistle blower during Israel’s history, as Gilad Erdan<\/b>, Netanyahu’s colleague, stated justly<\/a>, just a few months ago, Israel’s Prime Mininster, Ehud Olmert<\/b>, stated that Israel may have nuclear weapons<\/a>, and almost four years ago, parliament member Yossi Sarid<\/b> insinuated regarding Israel’s assassination policy<\/a> and its airstrikes.<\/p>\n

\nCurrently, all around the globe, censorship is used to bar citizens from information. Iran blocks Google and Gmail<\/a> (or blocked<\/a>); Turkey censors Youtube<\/a>, Thailand censors Youtube<\/a> (see also a very interesting Hebrew article<\/a>). and China simply blocks traffic. the question is whether all this censorship is still relevant where both Politicians and Political Dissidents publish information on their personal websites and on TV?<\/p>\n

\nEarlier this week, Israeli Blogger Hanan Cohen<\/b> said that an Israeli Blog was allegedly removed due to censorship<\/a> and that blogs are not immune from censorship. While most people think that Censorship is only making content invisible, the true face of censorship is blocking people from expressing their thoughts, even in these thoughts are not read by anyone<\/i><\/b>. The real question is not whether someone has the right to read something, but whether the government (and exactly which government) can block you from writing?<\/p>\n

\nA few months ago, Azmi Bishara<\/b>, which was at the time an Israeli Parliament Member (Hebrew story<\/a>), was charged with treason<\/a>. While the gag order regarded Israeli sources, Arab websites reported the incident<\/a>, and it soon leaked<\/a> to blogs. No one can really hide the truth nowadays.<\/p>\n

\nThe world is changing, it’s changing so fast that we didn’t notice that there are no more secrets, no more privacy and no way we can hide something from Google-Maps or any other service.
